At 10:18 a.m. on 10th June 2025, Taizhou Sanfu Ship Engineering Co., Ltd. held the steel cutting ceremony of a 12,500DWT multi-purpose vessel (Hull No.: SF230204) built for a German shipowner in the Steel Cutting Workshop, with the representatives of the shipowner, DNV Classification Society, as well as Sanfu Shipbuilding representatives present at the steeling cutting ceremony.

The ship is 147.00m in overall length, 140.00m in plumb length, 22.80m in beam, 11.55m in depth, 7.50m in design draught, 8.18m in structural draught, 15 knots in speed, 10,200 nautical miles in range, and entered into DNV classification society.

The vessel is the fourth vessel in the series of modified 12,500 tonnes MPV.

This series of vessels is further optimised and designed by Sanfu shipyard on the basis of the original 12,500t MPV, which is a new type of green and environmental friendly vessel with increased ice strengthening and TIER 3 emission rules.
